While Donald Trump Victory in the American elections wasn’t entirely unexpected, that’s not to say much of the world wasn’t shocked by the outcome.

The world must now accept, however, that there are likely to be further shocks in store due to the unpredictability of Trump’s words and policies, especially since subverting the norm is part of his modus operandi.

In the second week after his landslide victory, policymakers, analysts and businesspeople examined how Trump 2.0 would differ from his first term.

His style is no longer an enigma, but Trump should now be more experienced and better prepared to build his team.

How Trump chooses his nominees for key positions and the type of advisers he surrounds himself with will provide important clues about what his second term could be like.
